9 week Online Qigong Teacher Training Course

200hr Qigong Teacher Training Certification (Level 1)

Module I.

Completion of the 9 week live online QTT, which includes the following systems:

Shi Ba Shi,
Five Elements,
& Heaven to Earth.

You will also have access to the online courses for these systems.

TCM lessons.
Teaching Methodology.
Introduction to Neuroscience.

 

Module III.

Registered 15hr independent teaching.
A written Qigong system review component.
Recorded Teaching Demonstration.

Module III.

 

1. Teaching Demonstration Video

A 30-minute video of you teaching a Qigong class is 
required. The teaching can be of either one system or a combination of the three systems (Shi Ba Shi, Five Element, Heaven to Earth).

 

The format of the class: it needs to be a structured 30 minutes class starting with the Bow and the Opening and Closing Forms, followed by any of the Qigong exercises and closed by the Bow at the completion of the class. This is to be a special designed class for the teacher assessment. Number of students in the class needs to be two or more.

 

The size of the class is a minimum of two students. This can be done in-person or online and the recording must show the teacher and the students as well. The teaching format of the class needs to follow the format taught in the ‘How to conduct and structure a practical lesson’ in Module II of the 200hr Qigong Teacher Training Modules.

 

– The video recording needs to be continuous with no edits.

– The audio quality needs to be at a high enough level that we can hear the instructions clearly.

– Best angle for filming would be from the side with the view of the teacher and students, so the teacher can also be seen to make corrections with the students.

– Please send the recording  via WeTransfer or by Dropbox within six months after the completion day of the required training modules.

 

2. Registered Independent Teaching Hours

A minimum of 15 hours documented personal Qigong teaching. A form will be supplied to be filled out with dates, locations, times, number of students, duration of the classes and total hours of teaching.

The size of the class is a minimum of two students. This can be done in-person or online and the recording must show the teacher and the students as well.

Note: The documented independent teaching hours are required to be completed within six months after the completion of your online Qigong course training and the documentation needs to be submitted within this time to receive your certification.

 

3. Qigong System Written Review (300 – 500 words)

You are required to write a minimum of 300 words about your experience of any one of the Forest Rock Qigong Systems of the QTT.

Please, include your insights, thoughts and anything else you found valuable, while practicing the exercises and participating in the theoretical discussion about the theory of this system.

You can write about why you like this system, the experience you may have felt, while practicing it and what part of the system’s theory and philosophy was inspiring to you.

This is required to be submitted within six months from the completion of the required course to receive the 200hr QTT certification.
