During this retreat we will cover an introduction to the concept of the traditional Chinese exercise system called Qigong. It has been practiced for thousands of years in China and is renowned for maintaining health and longevity. Today, millions of people practice it all around the world every day. Qigong provides us with medical exercises to maintain superior health in the body.
During our Retreat Qigong Master Peter Caughey will introduce you to the famous classical Five Element Qigong system and the medical applications for each exercise. It is easy and simple to practice and requires no prior knowledge of Qigong, which makes it suitable for everyone.
The Five Element Qigong System provides an understanding of the relationships and harmony between the Five Elements Earth, Metal, Water, Wood and Fire.
Essential oils have a rich and profound history. They have literally been around for thousands of years and have been constantly used as part of civilisations healing practices.
During the retreat we will be utilizing the purest therapeutic grade quality essential oils to enhance all of the integrated exercises and movements; with a strong focus on the meridian line pathways and the support of all the organ functions. You will also experience the beautiful practice of combining essential oils with our daily meditation sessions to complement the hands-on healing work we will undertake for each other.
Our smoothie and cooking class is designed to open the door to the healing benefits of nutrition. During the retreat we will explore various medicinal ingredients that go into making an essential oil infused Forest Smoothie. We will also explore and create vegan dishes and snacks that will delight your taste buds and nurture your wellness. This session also supports a cause close to my heart, the reforestation efforts in Kalimantan.
One of the most exciting aspect of this unique retreat is the deep dive into Lifestyle Medicine, an evidence-based practice helping individuals and families prevent diseases, through adopting and sustaining holistic behaviors, enhancing six key areas:

We are welcoming a maximum of 30 participants on this retreat.
You will be practicing and learning about the ancient art of Qigong during the retreat. This is a very gentle form of exercise and you don’t need any prior experience to be able to attend. It is recommended though that you are in reasonable good health.
2.000.000 IDR non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a spot to cover administration fees. Should Covid cause the retreat to be cancelled, you can transfer you payment to another retreat.
This is entirely up to you. If you are travelling long distances, you may want to allow some extra time to get settled in.
We can arrange additional accommodation at the venue if you want to arrive before the retreat starts or if you want to extend your trip afterwards.
While there will be plenty of time for rest and integration, the retreat has a full schedule. For that reason, we recommend that you bring everything you need with you.
